Agricola — 20 Years of Impact
🔴 LIVEAgricola's mission is to bridge the gap between vehicle donors and Portuguese farming families who lack the transportation and equipment needed to sustain their livelihoods.
We believe that a single vehicle can transform a family's economic reality, enabling them to farm independently, access markets, and build a sustainable future.
We envision a Portugal where every farming family has the tools and transport needed to thrive. We work toward a future where agricultural communities are empowered, connected, and economically resilient.
By 2030, we aim to have placed 500+ vehicles and helped 300 families across all 20 Portuguese regions.
Maria Conceição and a group of local volunteers founded Agricola to address vehicle shortages in rural farming communities.
After three years of grassroots fundraising and donations, we placed our first 10 vehicles with farming families in the Alentejo region.
Agricola became an officially registered NGO, opening doors to national partnerships and EU funding.
We expanded operations to 10 Portuguese regions, establishing local volunteer coordinators in each.
Launched our online vehicle donation and request platform, dramatically increasing reach and efficiency.
Celebrating two decades of impact with 127 vehicles placed, 84 families supported, and operating across 18 regions.
A passionate team dedicated to connecting generosity with need across Portugal's farming communities.
